Rosalee's means: God gave us room to bloom. Read our story...

Rosalee’s is a small business that wants to bring glory to our King, Jesus Christ.
When Rosalee’s opened its doors in 2020, the aim was to create beautiful and good quality gifts and items to adorn living spaces. Initially our product range was quite large but as time passed, we decided to specialise. On top of that, the Lord led us to a more responsible and self sustainable lifestyle.
As a result of this, we moved to a small holding close to Lydenburg, a town in Mpumalanga. This provided us with new opportunities and products that wasn’t possible before. As we are learning His Kingdom principles with regards to planting and keeping of lifestock, we will add more natural and organic products to our store.
Why the name Rosalee’s?
When Louis asked the Lord what we should call our business, the name Rosalee’s popped into his mind. We both loved the sound of it and the decision was made. Only later we started to do some research on the meaning of the word. We would love to share it with you.
Rosa refers to a flower and for us this means to be able to produce an abundant harvest as a result of good cultivation.
Lee means a meadow or a pasture. The etymology of the word enriches the meaning even further. It means a clearing or open ground.
When you combine the two words, a wonderful story unfolds.
God gave us a lovely clearing or space if you will where He is able to cultivate His beauty in our lives, while we are working, producing and growing.
We hope that our website and products will enrich and inspire you. Quality and beauty are still our priority. All our products are handcrafted. Please remember than handmade takes more time than mass production.
Thank you for supporting our small business.
Blessings and shalom,
Louis and Yolandie Mostert
More on our products…

We print on various types of drinkware including tumbers, mugs en flasks. All our designs are done either in-house or purchased. We don’t copy the work of other businesses. Through our designwork we want to uplift and encourage others on their walk. Because we want to be true to our beliefs, we don’t print any designs that clashes with our faith in Jesus Christ (this includes superheros, unicorns, occultic symbols etc.)
Our handstitched leather range are done by Louis Mostert. Each stitch is done by hand, we don’t make use of sewing machines. Leather products that are stitched by hand are long lasting, authentic and unique. The leather products listed under the machine stitched menu are sourced and not made in-house.
We also manufacter good quality wooden boards for different occasions. As with most of our products, the designs and physical work are done in-house.
Rosalee’s is a very small team. We farm, we minister, we dream and design and we manufacture. All of these processes takes time. Although we try to build up stock, our products are normally sold out before it’s completed. Therefore we have a lead time of anything between 7 to 15 days. We do have a few stockists and distributors that carry stock. Should you need a product urgently, please contact one of them. They are listed below.
