Please note that the board displayed in the photos are made of oak wood. We no longer use oak to manufacture these boards, firstly to keep the boards affordable (oak is extremely expensive) and secondly because engraving on the darker wood types displays better than on oak.

Like all natural materials, wood has inherent disparities in colour and grain pattern because of variations caused by nature, over which we has no control. Kiaat tends to vary from a light golden brown to a dark reddish or purplish brown in colour with some irregular reddish streaks. Teak wood is a dense, close-grained type of hardwood, light-medium to medium brown, with a tint that can range from muted gold to a pale red.
